Preliminary
Planning Information for RYLA 2003
RYLA will be held on
June 08 - 11, 2003.
RYLA will be held at
the Lamar Community College, Lamar, Colorado.
For your budget, the
cost will be $285 per student.
The
following dates are important for planning your Rotary Club calendar.

Submit the RESERVATION FOR PARTICIPATION form to the
Conference Coordinator by December 31, 2002.
|
|
|
Have your Rotary club RYLA chair communicate with the
District RYLA Chairman if there are any questions about the program or the
Club responsibilities.
|
|
The RYLA committee will deliver to each Rotary club
President and RYLA chair information and applications by November 15, 2002.
|
|
Applications should be distributed to potential student
participants in January 2003.
|
|
Student participation will be limited to 130.
The RYLA committee will notify each Rotary club RYLA chair about
allocations of student participant slots based on the following four
factors:

1.
Rotary club
request.
2.
Prior
participation of each Rotary club.
3.
New clubs
participating.
4.
Date of
submission of the Reservation For Participation.
|
$100
deposit per student must be sent by December 31, 2002.
The final balance for participation must be forwarded to the
Conference Coordinator by April 30, 2003. April 30 is also the last date
to cancel, and receive a refund. A
$50 fee will be kept for administration costs.
|
|
Students
should be interviewed and selected during March, April or May 2003.
|
|
Your student should attend a club
meeting prior to participating in RYLA.
|
|
RYLA
will be held on June 8 to 11, 2003.
|
|
|
Your
students should provide the program at a weekly Rotary meeting during June
or July following the RYLA conference.
|
